City of Dadagiri 1 - Shit happens!!!

2011 A review...

Out of Syllabus 19

2011 A review
January - Realizing the fact that there is no hope in GATE exams i started job hunting. Well no hope there too.
February - I became an engineer. ( I still cannot believe I passed every Electronics and Electrical subjects)
                Gate exam.
March - Much awaited GATE results- as usual I beautifully failed.
April - Job hunt at Bangalore. Wondering through my thoughts and Bangalore streets.
May - Same as above.
June - Surprise! Surprise! Got Job in Wipro Infotech. Training at Bangalore. Time of pain and depression is over.
July - Well no, still Pain and depression left. got posting at Kolkata.
August - Training at Noida. Visit to Man U pub, Qutab Minar, Red Fort, India Gate and ultimately Taj Mahal the eternal symbol of (lost) love.
September - To Kolkata. Saw Messi, The Messiah of football, live in action at Salt Lake Stadium Kolkata.
October - Saw a T20 match from Eden Gardens, one of the best stadium in India.
Went through one of the most depressed phase. Found refuge in 84 mm fire of death.
November - My favorite month is back. And with it went the depression and insomnia which eventually gave way to deep sleep due to tiredness.
December - Life just goes on.

All in all 2011 was an year of mixed feelings for me. Life moved as in railway tracks, Happiness and Sadness was in parallel competing to each other for coming first. Ultimately I feel happy. Because the masochist in me got reduced giving way to workaholic in me.
Now awaiting 2012, as usual with dreams, expectations and promises. Bye bye 2011... 2012 I am coming.

Tomorrow never comes until its too late....

My blog is two year old. Happy birthday.
I have been searching for a birthday blog, but could not find any! So here i am a month after my blog's birthday to talk about the new life.
Change is inevitable. But it was not happening for me.Without anything to do at home, this loneliness, it was 2nd phase of depression for me. To add to that wound, no friends around. But one day, my time came. I got job in Wipro Infotech. One of the best company for a fresher to start in. God was with me. I was happy. I was more happy when I knew I got training at Bangalore where many of my friends were there.
And I started a new phase in my destiny at The Wipro head office, Sarjapur on 30th of June,2011 along with 34 strangers around me. I was bit sad because none of my friends where with me. But life is all about friendship. And thus we became closer, day by day. The main factor behind this was, It have been a year since we were graduated. All the good ones were already placed and we all were the so called 'Kootharas'. So we got on well together, until that day. The day when most of our heart was broken.
I knew something wrong would happen. Because God is not yet done with my punishment. And here came another one. We were told one day that we are deployed into different parts of India viz. Pune, Gurgaon, Kolkata and Bangalore. I was given Kolkata. Oh God, none of the LBSian is there. Along with that only 5 of us are going there. And I knew my days of pain are not yet over. Well this is all what masochist means. PAIN, PAIN & PAIN only. The only thing which came as condolence was that we have one month training at Noida, were we will be together. Again God played with us, 5 of us who where deployed at Bangalore were told to stay back, and 6 of us where told to report to Gurgaon on 7th of August. may be life is all about it.
Today, on the FRIENDSHIP DAY, when 6 of us left to Gurgaon, I felt that I am really all alone in this world. Even though we reached Delhi from Bangalore, within 3 hours, now I feel I am years away from my home and my friends. I got only one aim in my life now. Reach back to Bangalore & my friends as fast as possible and I am going to thrive for it. I knew tomorrow never comes until its too late, but tomorrow is just another day... so my day might come... one day.

Go Go GOA!!!

It was project time and only a few was there in class. We were getting bored. And it was then someone so unlikely to say this, told us, Lets go GOA!! Goa, the party town! One of my dream destination. Beach, babes & beer! What else for fun?? We all agreed and started packing. We arranged the stay in Govt guest house with the connections of one of my friend. Got stay in AC Suite for Rs 40 per day!!!
Since it was our first visit, we arranged a guide, and that was the first blunder we made. Because Guides takes us to places they want, not where we want to go. Same happened here also. He first took us to a place and told, You can go for 1 hr boating here, watch dolphins, Goa central jail and guest house of film stars. We were not interested. Then he told, you can also watch Cocoa Beach or ‘THE NUDE BEACH’ from the boat I can see lightning in my friends eyes. Well they could see in mine too. At once we agreed and went for it. We enjoyed the trip because the climax is at Cocoa beach. All was excited for it. We could see the beach in distance. We came near, across and over the beach. Well it was NUDE BEACH, there was no sign of any living beings there. It was heart failure for us!! The whole mood of the trip was spoiled. We went back to guide and enquired about it. It was then he revealed the shocking truth. Cocoa beach was indeed NUDE BEACH until it was closed in 1994 by the order of Govt of India. We were boiling up, and felt we want to thrash that SOB to pulp. Frustrated, angry, idiotic… we didn’t know how we felt then. We decided to take matters in our hands and told him to take us directly to beaches.
The world famous Goa beaches, Vagator, Colva, Madgaon, Anjuna, Bhaga, Calingout etc. They stretch out there with silver sand, golden sun rays & blue sea (blue in movies only, actually it is of same color as payyambalam beach of Kannur).Babes in bikinis where sun bathing in the beach. Paragliding & water rides are common. We went for the banana ride. (Don’t misunderstand the name.) We were carried on a long tube with life jackets, and some way from shore they throw us off from the tube. We have to swim back to the shore. It was great fun. But excitement was just begun. We decided to have beer. The real fun begun then. A bottle of beer inside you, warm waves caressing you, wind blowing on you, evening sun bathing you, friends with laughter cheering you and babes in two pieces around you. What will you feel, Ecstasy right. Ya indeed it was marvelous feeling.
Beaches at night were wonderful. Waves were roaring at the shore. There were visitors enjoying the night with beer. The light glowing gold on their skin was fantastic to watch. It was then, one of my friend wanted to pee badly. He went to side of a boat, but the owner of nearby resort scolded him, and sent his dog behind him. We ran for our life. We pleaded the waves to avenge him and peed in sea. Enjoyed the night out like hell.
Two days at Goa was one of the most memorable days of my life. We returned back with lifelong memories stored in our mind and in our cameras. Definetly I am gonna visit the place once again. To fulfill the dreams…..

White VIP Frenchie...

This is about one of the most funniest moment in my life.  There are situations in which you think you are screwed up, which can be easily escaped by sheer courage and sense of humor. This guy showed absolute courage and used his sense of humor at the right time and escaped the punishment. This happened when I was in +1. As I told earlier I was in hostel at Sree Gokulam Public school Vadakara. We got very strict routine and very strict warden – Hari Narayanan Sir. It was like jail. Only difference was in jail they work, here we study. There were lots of rules to be maintained. One of the rule was that all boys must have 6 underwear’s at the least. I don’t know what kind of rule that was. Another rule was to switch off lights and go to bed at 10. We had dormitory system with 60 in single room and 2 entrances. It was eve of midterm exam. Almost all was in bed. But some from commerce was enjoying the night out. One among them, let us call him X, was on his famous white VIP underwear and was dancing around. Others were laughing at his actions. Suddenly someone told warden is coming, escape. Mr X, crawling on his knees went to the door and peeped out. Well he went straight to warden. At night, in white underwear, on his knees, he was caught red handed by warden. Well he did the most amazing thing which no one else would have done under that circumstance to our strict warden. He just caught his legs and told “SIR, IT IS MIDTERM EXAM TOMORROW. I NEED YOUR BLESSINGS. PLEASE BLESS ME.” Even the warden laughed his head out at this. He did nothing and went back. Imagine that situation, who the hell will act like that. But his courageous little funny act saved him. We used to laugh out remembering it.

The Mighty MH....

MH- It stands like a fort on the top of hill facing the whole campus. Girls say its Dracula’s Fort. May be they were jealous to say like that. But for us it was heaven. The walls of MH were our freedom. Freedom to eternal infinity. Well that’s  not the point I want to say. MH stands for Men’s Hostel. But what if a lady enters the MH? Thunderstorm right! Well literally that happened.
Campus politics and fights was one of the popular identity of LBS along with Mallyaji’s ‘Amruthu’.. And it may sometimes get nasty. One such fight broke out. An action committee of all HOD’s was formed, to conduct raid in Boys hostel. One of the HOD was a lady staff. She too came for the raid. We were all excited when we heard about the raid. Raid- like if they are going to find anything from the hostel. There was unusual chattering and clattering around. It was somewhere in the beginning of summer and sky was  crystal clear. The HOD’s raided the hostel. But as usual they couldn’t find out anything. Ah! except an iron rod which was used to clear the blocks in toilet (Trust me, toilets in MH are famous for pouring things out, rather than to take away things, when we pour water)!!! They also scared the assistant in mess thinking he was student. Well when the Lady HOD along with other HOD’s reached the terrace of mighty MH… the sky darkened. Clouds appeared. Wind started blowing. And it was fierce one. Mind, it was in summer. Well a lady entering MH is unnatural. May be that’s why nature also went berserk. Wind and dust was around us. But we were excited. All shouted.  Saying that even nature was furious about a lady entering the MH. Well we got a pet dog called Dhanumon in Mh. I guess even he didn’t like the HOD’s entering his & our privacy. It was one of the funniest moment when Dhanumon chased the Hod’s barking out. Actually he was expressing our view towards the HOD’s. Thank God he was trained well. The HOD’s went away. We watched them walking away, with our heads held high and the usual ‘puchality’ on our face. In the dust and wind and drizzle, we danced and shouted and enjoyed like hell from our heaven- MH!!!!

Three Mistakes of my life.....

All through the engineering life, viva has been very funny for me. These was one area I never paid any attention. These are some of the viva’s in my life
1.    Digital lab- Electronics was the subject I hated most in my life. And I was zero in it. Attended the lab as usual preparing nothing. I got Mod5 counter. I went to my place. Emil was adjacent to me. I waited for him to disassemble his circuit. When I showed him quest, he told his also was same circuit. Damn! He already got output for it. If I had asked before itself I too would have got output. Anyway copied the circuit diagram from him and got proceed. I made a circuit, which was blinking wildly. Not a Mod5 counter though. Anyway I was satisfied because I got proceed. Now the external examiner called me for viva. Hmm!! He started asking questions and I knew nothing. In between he asked what are the ‘FOUR’ states of working of a transistor. I knew saturation, and cutoff. Rest two I didn’t know. I thought hard. Hearing no reply from me, he asked next question. How many working states are there for transistor? Straight forwardly I answered ‘THREE’!!!!! After answering only I knew the blunder I made. Previous question he asked what are 4 states of operation, next question he asked how many states of operation and I answered 3!!! Thank God I passed the lab.
2.    Course Viva- Everyone was tensed for this. The last exam of B. Tech (excluding back papers). I prepared Operating System as my subject. And I was confident about my project. But Anees, my project mate, was also in my batch of course viva, and since he went before me I was sure external won’t ask anything from project. I went in after Anees. He asked me what your favorite subject is. I answered OS. Ok How many marks you scored in OS? I told 50 (actually I got 42, but since it is fav subject I increased to 50). He told with wide eyes, “Only 50. Is this your fav subject??!!!”  Well no comments for it.
3.     Most important one. Wipro Technical Interview. Lifetime opportunity. Hmm! Technical interview turned out to be HR. And I answered very blunderfully! Again came fav subject. This time too I told OS!! He asked Why OS is your fav sub. Damn! What to answer to this? I told “Well! Its OS, one sees, in a system primarily, so I was interested in it”. Then he asked “What did you learn new in OS?” Now I could feel the tension slipping away, because I knew Job too was slipping away. I just smiled. He didn’t make it more difficult for me and told “Ok we will inform you”. I knew what they are gonna inform me.

A dream come true...

Uppal Stadium
It is Vettori with his left arm orthodox bowling at the bowling end. Harbhajan took his stance and was ready. Vettori came in; Bhaji dances down the pitch and lofts the ball to long on. BANG! A six. Next ball also same result. Two back to back sixes for Bhaji against unarguably world’s best left hand spinner. Uppal stadium erupted to pandemonium. All was roaring Bhaji’s name…..
It has been my dream to watch the BIG5 of Indian cricket (Sachin, Dravid, Laxman, Ganguly & Kumble) in action. Unfortunately I never had a chance. That is why I was anxious when I heard a test is being played at Uppal stadium Hyderabad. Probably last chance to watch Sachin Dravid & Laxman together. Me and two friends decided to go for match. So we went on 3rd day morning, Sachin & Dravid at crease, with Sachin aiming his 50th test hundred. But ticket was not issued at the stadium, so we bought ticket in black. 450 for ticket of Rs 300 & he told it was season ticket. When we entered, Sachin was already out. Dravid & Laxman stood like Walls. The bowlers where charging and banging in, but ball didn’t move an inch from where Dravid defended. Even we were frustrated at this, then what will be the feeling of bowler!! What a player he is. But not that wonderful for watchers. But luck was with us. Indian Collapse began after lunch. And that was when Bhaji started his cameo with Sreesanth. (Interesting pair right). Crowd started enjoying. It was after 22 years a test match conducted at Hyderabad. And Bhaji was punishing kiwis. He went on to make centaury next day. We couldn’t get even a glimpse of little master.
On 5th day thinking ours was season ticket, me and another two friends went again to watch the match. But when we reached there, security guards stopped us. It was then I understood that we were beautifully tricked. 300 rs for 5 days ticket. Each day’s ticket was separate. The guy who sold us ticket bought 5 days ticket for 300 and sold each ticket for 400-500. He pays 300 and gets almost 2000!!!! We were charged out of the area. But we waited outside to get tickets from those who are coming out. We waited and waited and knew match was almost over. We were losing our hope. That was when a guy gave us his tickets and told us to get in fast so that we can watch the closing ceremony. Guess what it was corporate box ticket. Next to the pavilion. There was AC, an LCD and a fridge. We found soft drinks and juices in the fridge [:P]. After the match was over, we waited outside near the buses to wave them goodbye. Saw them very near, getting into bus. Sachin and Laxman got most cheers. Luck favored us in this way. A lot of thanks to that unknown guy who gave his ticket for us free. We came back with satisfaction of a dream come true.

2 Days @ Bangalore

2011 is here... and I thought it as a new beginning. And stepped into the toughest phase of an engineer- THE JOB HUNT.  So I attended Wipro Interview through shredskerala. I was shortlisted for Interview which was postponed and rescheduled quite a few times. At last it was fixed on 22nd Jan from Bangalore. Me, Emil, Fazil, Mamooty, Anoop and Prasanth was having the interview. On 21st night me and Prasanth started from Iritty, on Ashoka Travels. But on the way we came to know that it was Hartal in Karnataka. But anyway we decided to go. We reached at Kalasipalayam, at 5.30 and boarded Yelahanka Bus. It was almost an hour away. Soon after we left Majestic Bus station, some stopped our bus. They were yelling like anything and we understood it was the strikers. But thank God we were allowed to go. Reached Papu’s Uncle’s and refreshed. Anoop (Jamban) and also joined us. While we were going to institute we could see burned tires on the road. We went cautiously as Strike could turn out to be nasty. But we reached there safely. Fazil and Mamooty were already there. They came in an interviewer’s car, which they came to know later only. Since my interview was scheduled at 10.00 AM, I went in there. While entering the room I was confused where to go. I found a person in far left corner and went to him. He took some time to complete the paperwork. He checked my resume. I started with self introduction. But he was not going technical. He asked HR questions, I got tensed and blabbed, which gave him more opportunity to hook me up. But I thought once he gets into technical I will feel comfortable. But he never got into technical. All in all I gave a poor performance. I knew I had not passed the interview which was confirmed when he didn’t give HR form. I waited outside for others. Interview got over at 8 evening. Finally when it was over, only Emil from CSE got selected for HR. (Which was no surprise. It would have been a surprise if he was not selected). Mamooty, Jamban and Papu were selected. (All are from EC dept). Me Fazil and Mamooty was interviewed by same person. We returned from there at 8. I decided to go to Fazil’s room. We went to bus stop in Papu’s Uncle’s car. And while we were driving, we missed a person by inches. He was not crossing but walking through the middle of road. He gave us a casual look and walked over. We all felt like kicking him. Guess he was drunk.
Reached Fazil’s room by 10.00. Aby, Anees, Basil, Me, Mamooty and Fazil was there. Next day we decided to hangout. We went to Forum mall and started our usual business- Ogling. Prasoon and Sooraj joined us. Then we went to LALBAGH, where flower show was going on. There was huge rush. But away from all the rushes, in benches spread around in the park, we could see couples enjoying their day out. Hmmm!!! Reminded me of visit to Lumbini Park with Nithin and Emil. We got some shots at couples who crossed the limit [;)]. After few wandering and Photo sessions we entered for flower show. There was huge rush and so couldn’t see anything properly. We got out and then Adarsh also came. We decided to return. We got into a bus which turned out not into our direction. All steeped down but I couldn’t. Bus moved and I didn’t know what to do. But Fazil called and told were to step out. I got down out Forum mall and waited for others. Thank God the bus was going through that way. Else I would have been lost in the city. Since it was only 7.30, I decided to return back home. This turned out to be right decision. Well two days we were back like in LBS. Enjoyed a lot. When I reached home, I realized how much I miss my friends. Wish all could be together once again. Knows it is not possible. As someone rightly told “In college we play with our life, but outside it, Life plays with us”...

A MIDNIGHT CALL...

This post is about a call which came at mid night. The call could have changed my life forever. It could have destroyed my carreer. But thank God till now nothing happened. All is well.
Nov 29 midnight. Me and Prasanth was waiting for Ashvin's call. He was supposed to fly nextday. Couldnt meet him. Huge miss. We were remembering the good times we had at Gokulam Public School. I was returning back home on dec 6th. And i had told this to Rahul and Sree. Atlast Ashvin called and told me that Rahul told him I will return on 4th and so he cancelled his ticket and booked for 5th. Me and Prasanth was shocked. But this is Ashvin. We can excpect such craziness from him. Well he told us to pack and come soon. Now we were in dillema. There is a guy who cancelled his flight just to see us and there is our carrer on otherside. Hmm I had only onething to choose. Its Ashvin calling we gotta go. The very next day we went to APSRTC station and booked busticket to banglore for 1st Dec. There was lot of things to do like packing, taking photostat of notes etc. But by God's grace and previous experience of doing things at last minute, we managed to complete everything. So on Dec 1st we bid goodbye to Chandras Mens Hostel, Ace Engg Academy, IIT Aspirants@Ace and to Hyderabad. We reached banglore on 2nd morning. Started to home in KSRTC. Reached there at eve. On 3rd dec went to Vadakara, Ashvin's home. Rahul Sree and VV was already there. When we reached ther he told us that we have to goto Manglore that night. Oh god. He is crazy. But again its Ashvin who is telling, so me and Papu decided to go with him. Sree & Rahul had exams on monday so they didint come. So went to Manglore at midnight. Reached there morning. We took a room and refreshed. Saturday Eve Chennai mail we returned back. It was his last day back home. So he called Rahul & Sree too. They got exams on monday but still they came at midnight. Again its the mesmerising affect of ASHVIN. We didnt sleep [well I slept k :)].Next day eve we all went to airport to bid him goodbye. Well two days with him, I was enjoying like nuts. It have been long time since i enjoyed in such a way. Ashvin, he is a guy who deeply influenced our lives. And the team Ashvin, Sree, Rahul, VV, Papu and me got togther. Well we were taking another step in our lifelong friendship.

There is no secret ingredient....

Narasimha....Half man, half lion....was the third incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Born to protect good from evil. The man whom I am discussing here is also called 'Narasimha'. But He is no incarnation of any God. He is simply a human, the chief cook of Chandras Boys hostel- where I stayed when I was at Hyderabad. Here I am discussing the secret ingredients of Narasimhas cooking and in the end you will understand that there is no secret ingredient. All are natural.
  • We are served with curd. 1 packet of curd mixed with water serving 130. This mixing is done in bathroom in pipe water and by the filthy hands of mighty narasimha.
  • We are served with puri. He makes puri while he brushes his teeth.
  • The table where puri I made is black at the edges and clean in centre. Guess what the secret ingredient is!
  • If anything falls from table to filthy floor, he puts it back without cleaning.
  • Yesterday night's rice is served as lemon ice for breakfast next day.
  • He got 2 kids of abt 8 and 4. He serves the younger one in mouth and at same time serves us too without even washing hands. And mind it she got cold and her nose drips always.
  • Narasimha is best in making fried rice and guess what, he scratches his ASS!!!(Yuck) while making it.
  • He also sneezes openly due to the masala powders...
  • Last but not least, the vessel in which rice is made is cleaned by salt water, don’t misunderstand, what I meant was that Narasimha's kid always PISSED on it when it is kept for washing.
Now we understood that there is no secret ingredient, all are natural ingredients. And after having this food we are sure to develop Acquired Immuno EFFICIENCY Syndrome. Ya our immune system is tested and made stronger by providing us with unhygienic food. As I told there is no secret ingredient.

Diwali @ Hyderabad

When I am writing this...it is all silence around me. No sounds, light and smell of crackers. Dense smoke have been cleared. Only the waste scattered here & there....like memories scattered in heart. My mind drifts back... over to the beautiful time @LBSCE where we celebrated each and every function with one hell of a happiness. The peculiar thing about celebrations at LBS is that it is all in front of LADIES HOSTEL. We assemble there, light up crackers, sing songs especially nadanpattu. We shout scream and all in all ogle the girls. And most exciting thing is to sent rockets to the windows of LH. It was real celebration, where we were a part. And now from Hyderabad when i remember all those golden memories etched in my memory for ever, i got only few tears with me.
Diwali was some experience at Hydbd. One thing i understood after coming to this metropolitan city is that people here does not care about money when it comes to celebration. It had started a few days before itself. But all i was excited about diwali was that i heard we will get special food(trust me food here sucks). So i was eagerly waiting for it. But what we got was one of the worst thing they make- brinjal, what we call the bomb. So we decided to have food from outside. After having food we all went for a walk around. But this walking have been dangerous since kids have been blasting the crackers near our legs. And once a rocket missed us by inches. I wondered how the drivers managed... especially bikers. When we reached near a showroom the celebration was at its peek. Because of them the whole traffic was at mayhem. Police was trying hard to control the traffic jam. But fireworks were great. But more wonderful was the hot chick who was lighting the crackers and other girls around the place in colourful dresses and definitely showing their assets. The fun was when a rocket backfired on the hot chick. Her skirt caught fire. (Un)Luckily nothing happened. It was then the owner of showroom understood that we were actually ogling girls. He shouted at us but we did not move a inch. Then came police with their electric batons and charged us out of area. We ran for our life. When we rounded our way back to hostel we saw a family celebrating in front of their flat. We joined them and thank god, chicks were there here too. Enjoyed a lot. After celebrating and of course studying the anatomy of girls we bid them good bye, wishing happy diwali.
Diwali is the celebration of victory of good over evil. It is a celebration of light. And indeed Hyderabad was ablaze on diwali night like a day. Let the light be spread......the light of care comfort and love.....

Romanov.....journey through a Pensieve....

"I use the Pensieve. One simply siphons the excess thoughts from one's mind, pours them into the basin, and examines them at one's leisure. It becomes easier to spot patterns and links, you understand, when they are in this form."

I was in 7th std. I knew my father drank and i hated alcohols. I didnt like my father drinking. One day i found out where he kept his drinks and smashed that bottle. That day my father scolded me and beat me to pulp. I couldnt understand why. I asked him.He told" You will understand when you come to my position". I never knew it will be true then .
I was in engineering first year. My friends were collecting the names of people who drink, I told no.
I was in fifth sem, NIMBUS2k8, our class tour. I didnt drink.
I was in 6th sem, Teranis2k9, first ever techfest of LBSCE. The result of our hardwork. Still I didnt drink.
I fell in LOVE. I felt wonderful. But I was broken. Because of love. I didnt know what to do. I didnt know how to relieve from the pain. I decided to test alcohol. And on march 5th 2010 we went to MEGHARAJ to celebrate my 6th sem fullpass. (My first fullpass.) It was then when i had my first peg. My first drink was mixed by X (sorry cant disclose who it is). Mixing a drink for others is the best method to show one's friendship, respect, loyalty and warmness (courtesy- GOD FATHER). And in that context he had shown everything. The atmosphere was great. Light was dim. And chilled beer made it more wonderful. Now i understood that what my father told was true.
Vivikenanda told "Drinking wont solve your problems". Mallya told "Drinking will help you forget your problems". Guess which is better......

Burger...

Out of Syllabus 4

This is an investigative post. A question which have been pestering me. In the end if you find the answer for my question, please let me know. This post got many parts.
  • We were hungry! We were fed up with hostel food. We cant starve anymore. We were not ready to give up. We decided to take matters in our hand. We thought of preparing burgers. For that we bought Buns and vegetables (Onions, tomato, carrot, lemon, chillies, capsicum etc) We cut the vegetables beautifully. Arranged them in bun. When we ate it, it felt wonderful since it was hand made by us. We enjoyed it a lot.
  • We had classes from morning 6 to eve 6. For that Emil got up at 5 and had bath. I got up at 5.30 but did not have bath and went to class. Oh my God! Me getting up early morning to go to class. That was not me. That was never me! I bunked next days class. Now that is me. Well this is not the point which i have to say. Main point is Emil got up and had bath early morning.
  • Emil got fever. High fever and body pain. He was very weak. He refused to eat because he felt everything tasteless. He looked sick. Now the question is- How did he get fever? He had the burger. Did it cause any problem? But others too had burger, they did not get fever. Emil got up at 5, may be the cold climate affected him. But i got up at 5.30, just half an hour late, but nothing happened to me. Then what was the reason Emil got fever? What you feel. What i felt is that it is not burger or getting up early that caused his fever, but it was because he took BATH!!! That was my conclusion. What do you feel??
Moral- DO NOT BATH!! IT MAY CAUSE FEVER!!!"

Stay with me........

"I remember a prison of all memories
And I`m drowning in tears
Come and help me please
Stay with me Stay with me
Baby when the lights go down
I was so crazy
All the time I made you cry.
You walk away and never said goodbye
On and on, on and on
I guess I lost you Now your gone." - AKCENT (STAY WITH ME)

She left me!!! Without saying a GOOD BYE. Without turning back. And she never returned, not even when i was rotten in hell.
World says a boy and a girl can never be just friends. Is it true? I can blatantly say NO. Because she was only my friend. I was never attracted towards her. She was just a friend and she was the best I ever had. I was broken, lonely, mad. I was in danger, of getting lost. I feared. I saw nightmares. I was in pain. It was like hitting by 1000 nails. One day she turns up. And i knew she was the angel sent by God himself. To relieve from my pain and sins. Indeed she was an angel. She wasn't the best around. She wasn't the most beautiful one. She was idiotic and very much childish. But she have been very much comforting for me.Best thing in her is that she listens to me. When you are in despair, what you want is not advice, but someone just to listen what you have got to say. And that is why i like her most. She listened to me, without interrupting. I let my emotions flow. Never in my life i had opened up to anyone like this. She was soft and can easily be fooled. I must confess that i used her weakness. But she taught me a lot. I never looked into her eyes. I never talked to her face to face, because i was ashamed. I was ashamed to admit that my whole life depended on her. And that was the worst thing i did. But regret and remorse cant help now!
I could not say goodbye to her. I never thought it was necessary. In fact i never thought she will be gone. I had a chance and i did not utilize it. I could not even be one percent, of what she had been to me, towards her. I could never return the comfort and care she provided to me. This post is for you. Just you. To let you know that I am sorry. If somehow, somewhere you happened to see this post..... just understand how much i miss you..... May be this too was written beforehand itself........

Three idiots- my best mates....

All of us have watched Rajkumar Hirani's 3 idiots. Well directed ,heart touching, emotional blockbuster of 2010. Raju, Farhan and Rancho became parts of our life. Probably best ever campus film produced. This post is dedicated to my best three friends. I have got plenty of friends. But i got 3 gems of friends in my life (Hope i made a 4th one on 3rd July 2010. That is another story). They helped me to get back from the forest which i had mentioned in earlier post. They were with me, helping me, guiding me and teasing me. They were my ARIADNE's THREAD which helped me to get back from the Labyrinth i was in. All say friends are made in heaven (or was it marriage?). But i say friends makes our world a heaven. And its not the laughter which we share makes the friendship, but its the tear which we share that makes the friendship. My 3 idiots were the ones who stayed with me in my dark times. Providing me shoulder to cry on. They helped me to revive my self when i was getting lost with myself.
All 3 were very different. One thing common between them was friendship. One was like an elder sister scolding me, advising me to be in right path. Another was like a doctor healing the patient. He took great care. The other one, she was the best among all. 1st one scolded me, 2nd advised me and 3rd listened me.1st was sad for me, 2nd was solution for me and 3rd was hope for me. Together they helped me to rebuild my world. Without them i wont be here.
Now to conclude i have a quote from Paulo Coelho's THE ZAHIR
"His companions say HE IS LUCKY. But he knows that luck is to look around him and to see where his friends are, because it was through their words that the angels were able  to make themselves heard"

First Interview......

26th September 2010
I attended my first interview today and it was an experience. Came to know about it only yesterday night at 11. Have to go at 7 in morning. No formal dress, no shoes and unshaven... I have to attend interview of Satyam, HCL, DELL, IBM etc..... When i called Mukul, who is also attending, he was shaving at midnight!!! Got up early and started to the place at 7 in casuals. (Half sleeve, jeans, no shoes and unshaven) Mukul and his friend too was there. Reached the institute @9. No one was there. Someone told companies will arrive@10 only. We registered in all companies. It was fun. People were like in mess hall fighting to get their opportunity. No queue no order. After tedious registration we did not know what to do. Someone told to wait in a classroom. It was 10.30 then. We waited and waited. There was no movement. Since we did not have breakfast soon we slept in classroom!!! When we got up it was 1.30. Still no movement. Went to canteen and had food. As always Hyderabadi food sux. We returned and waited for some time. Still no one came. We wondered what was happening and went to enquire. Then only we shockingly realized placement was going on in other places. and we were simply wasting time in that room. In that panic we went and registered for Genpact and wrote HCl's aptitude. Now it was 4.30. Again went to canteen to have tea. We thought of leaving. But one of us told anyway we came lets wait for HCL's results. We went and enquired and as expected none of us passed. Someone told IBM's GD was going on and we decided to attend it. Mukul's CV was over. They told to write in a white paper. WHITE PAPER!!! He came out to write and rest attended GD. Topic was Engg Colleges in India. I talked and talked beautifully (hope so)... But when results came both of us were rejected. We went to Genpact. No one was there. So we stole Mukul's CV which we gave there for registration and gave it to him who was waiting to attend GD with CV written in a notebook page. He attended and was selected. Later me and Manu realized we were rejected because of our Kerala Slang. Lost opportunity at IBM due to poor slang IBM!!! Oh My GOD.English - my favorite language, became villain today. And luck favored Mukul. He got selected. Oh! we had decided to come back. Stayed just to know the results and he got a job. I realized everything has its own time. Also that hardwork never fails. Mukul- hardworking got selected and me- lazy was rejected. :). But again as i always tell.... WHO CARES!!!!

Hyderabad- Journey to my destiny...

Aug 14 2010
Now All exams are written. I was ready to go for GATE coaching at ACE Hyderabad. Me started from home at 5 morning to Thalassery. Ticket was booked on Shabari Express from Shornur. The bus was full of ordinary people like fishermen, bus workers etc. They all seemed to be happy and enjoying their life.Even though they are stridden by poverty, there was happiness in them. No tensions, pressures...they just live their life as if there is no tomorrow. Wished i could be like them.
Started to Shornur in Parasuram express. Ashvin told he will come to Vadakara station. But idiot didnt getup in time. Crazy!!! Reached Shornur at 11. There was plenty of time to kill. Railway statiion is the place where you can see all types of people, the so called India's diversity. High class people who travels in AC to middle class people trying to fit in their budget by traveling in sleeper coach to ordinary people who can only afford general compartment and beggars who cant afford anything but can travel in any class. Well why should i be bothered about all these. Huh! I am just a traveler to my destination, and why should i be bothered about what lays on side of the path. Dont know.
TamilNadu was an experience. It was completely different from Kerala. Very hot,dry and dusty. Air had a different smell and i understood why people miss their home very much. Most of the time i was sleeping. Reached Secunderabad on Aug 15th. Independence day. I had stepped into my next phase. Some kind of excitement was there on me. Will this be my independence. Hope everything goes well as i wished... God only knows what lays ahead.....

All GPS friends, Ashwin lands on.....

All GPS frnds Ashwin lands on....
Well whats in this sentence to make it special. It simply denotes a guy called Ashwin is gonna come. Whats so special in it. You might be thinking that rite!! Well i too wondered, why is this sentence or this guy special in my life. Well to understand that have to go fewyears back. To my +2.
Well i had my +2 from Gokulam Public School, Vadakara. I stayed in hostel. My two years at hostel was going dull boring and robotic. Since its first time me staying out of home it became very difficult to adjust in a hostel. Well i was a guy who wished to live on my own principles- regardless of whether it was right or wrong. And i found its difficult to be so in a hostel and it took time for me to realise it. (Well it did good for me in my next hostels). And life became tough. I wished to get it over soon.
And then oneday, 3-4 months before board exams, this guy turns up. To stay in hostel. To stay with us. Well my life changed after that. Those few months became my (all of us hostlers, hope so) best time at hostel. Those became one of the best months in my life. He brought lots of cheer and laughter. It was the time we enjoyed liked opened up champagne bottle. For me, he came as the torch bearer of new light thrown on me. Now I wished to never get it over. Well this was just a chapter in the book of life. And it was inevitable that it should be over.
Well after +2 he went abroad for studies and me to the wonderfull days @ LBS. But each year Ashwin comes home for vacation. And thats the time of reunion and celebration of GPS friends. We get together at ashwins. To rememb all that sweet memories. Its like a festive mood for all of us when we hear Ashwin is coming. And it is the nostalgic travel to the past.
Here I am now waiting to hear.....All GPS friends, Ashwin lands on.....
